Project Control

The WBS and weights from your contract, the weekly freeze, and the S-curves everything rolls up into.

Project Control · overview

What it does

Project control holds the structure every other module reports against: the WBS, the phase weights, the baseline and the weekly progress. We close the week every Friday, and the monthly report reads from the frozen week.

What the dashboard reads from it

  • Overall progress vs planned
  • SPI and earned value
  • Commercial operation forecast vs baseline
  • Milestone variance

How the work flows

The weekly cycle

Progress is typed or fed once a week. Friday closes it; nothing after Friday changes the reported number.
